Dead but Alive is a three-piece series that explores the tension between fear and anticipation of the unknown. Created during a transitional period in my personal life, the work reflects how I often let fear of what lies beyond my control prevent me from fully embracing the present moment. This series also marked the beginning of a new practice in my creative proces; embedding "Easter eggs" by incorporating elements from previous works into new ones. In this case, the blue shattered pieces are a continuation from the previous project "Shatter". This approach allows my practice to evolve as an ongoing journey rather than a series of standalone pieces. Each work is connected, just as the chapters of my life are, making my practice not only personal but deeply reflective of my lived experiences.
