Again, For the First Time

Again, for the First Time, is a project that was completed during my residency in Tequisquiapan, Mexico. The inspiration behind this work came from an overwhelming sense of déjà vu; a strange familiarity in a country and continent where I had never set foot. The feeling was so strong it became almost unsettling. Rather than resist it, I chose to immerse myself in the chaos and flow that the experience offered. By embracing the disorientation and emotional intensity, the project became an ode to bittersweet memories from my past,fragments that continue to surface and linger, asking to be seen again, as if for the first time.
